Hi, I'm Karen.

I'm excited to share with you my adventures as I galavant around both near and far, exploring everyday adventures through my camera lens.

Can Can Wonderland

I have a deep rooted love for mini golf and arcade games. There's something about all the moving parts, flashing lights and astro turf that bring me back to childhood. I can also confirm that I have, on numerous occasions, pulled the car over during road trips anytime I see a mini golf course.

So when my little sister and brother-in-law were up visiting, a round (or three) of cocktails and 18 holes of mini golf at Can Can Wonderland in St. Paul, MN seemed like a fantastic idea. It was!

Each hole is artfully designed with some of the classics like loops and water features, and others are completely unexpected like a moving tornado and a room decked out like your Grandma's basement.

Things you should know before you go...

Can Can Wonderland is totally family friendly, but it's adults only after 9pm. They are currently only open Thurs - Sundays, but as they grow in popularity, that may change.

Unfortunately, they do not take reservations for mini golf - but there are so many other fun things to do and delicious cocktails to drink, I doubt you'll notice the wait time.

If mini golf and old school arcade games aren't your thing.. I'm sorry, we can't be friends. Just kidding (not really, but moving on) Can Can also hosts burlesque shows, bingo, trivia and live music. They basically have something for anyone who likes fun!

I know we'll definitely be back!
